Geneva Convention defines starvation as war crime

  • Quote from article, "Nazis used Starvation to kill" on Newsmax.com and reported by religionjournal.com, March 226,2005:

  • To begin with, there is the long-standing and internationally accepted Geneva Convention: "The prohibition to starve civilians as a ‘method of warfare’ is included in Article 54 of Protocol I and Article 14 of Protocol II."

According to the International Criminal Court, starvation as a means of killing is a war crime. The Court noted: "Intentionally using starvation of civilians as a method of warfare by depriving them of objects indispensable to their survival, including willfully impeding relief supplies as provided for under the Geneva Conventions' is a serious violation of the laws and customs of war [52]."

    Kansas is regulating abortion clinics!

Kansas bill 2503 has passed the Kansas House and Senate and is waiting on the Gov Kathleen Sebelius to sign it. The bill, sponsored by State Rep Peggy Long-Mast, passed the Senate by a vote of 27-12 and has already passed the House vote last week. This bill puts abortion clinics under the Regulation of the Kansas Dept of Health and Environment according to the Kansas City Star news. It also requires that abortionist report injuries and deaths to the Health Dept. IF abortion is going to be legal, it needs to be regulated just as all ambulatory and operating rooms are and reviewed annually or more often as needed by State review teams for compliance.

Of course, I am 100% opposed to killing of innocents, and I fervently believe that killing is never a right but a sin against God, whether the person is Terri Schiavo or innocents in their mother's wombs. The US cannot become Nazi America but unless people begin to wake up to the truth, that is a risk! Nazi doctors also killed and with the "legal" protection of SS troops! Is that your vision for America? It is not mine! So I write for life.

For more on the topic of Terri Schiavo, visit The Post It news at http://postitnews.com/ and click on the big blue square, Prolife Activst. Thanks.

HE is Risen, the tomb was empty!

"The first day of the week, cometh Mary Magdelene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, 'they have taken away The Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid Him.' Peter therefore went forth and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre. So they ran both together; and the other disciple did outrun Peter and came first to the sepulchre. And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in. Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie, and the napkin that was about His head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself. Then went also that other disciple which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw and believed. For as yet they knew not, the Scripture, that HE must rise again from the dead. But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping; and as she wept, she stooped down and looked into the sepulchre. And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. And they say unto her, 'Woman? why weepest thou?' She said unto them, 'because they have taken away My Lord, and I know not where they have laid Him. And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. Jesus saith unto her, 'Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou?' She supposing Him to be the gardener, saith unto Him, 'Sir, if thou have borne Him hence, tell me where thou hast laid Him, and I will take Him away.' Jesus saith unto her, 'MARY'. She turned herself and saith unto Him, "Rabboni' which is to say, "MASTER!" Jesus saith unto her, "Touch me not for I AM not yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brethren and say unto them, "I ascend unto my Father, and your Father, and to My God and your God." 11th Circuit Court fails life test too!

The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta, failed Terri and also the life test. They ruled against life for Terri and by so doing, created the situation for the Schindlers to appeal to the Supreme Court. Maybe the Schindlers should pass some bucks under the table like the Lib-Dems are accustomed to receiving from Planned Parenthood and NARAL and then they would be more "cooperative". Or maybe they should find the key senators who manipulate the Patriot Act and use the war powers act to "kidnap" Terri out of the hospice? Or maybe they should contact Al-Quaeda --they could accomplish it and probably gladly too. Yes, I bet they would love to show up the Congress's ineffectiveness and uselessness. The law has certainly failed to uphold the US Constitution in Florida, Georgia, and Congress. Anarchy is the law of the land so it seems-- an act of Court ordered murder by corrupt Judges and an adultering husband who should never have been his "wife's" guardian because he has already abandoned her and now only wants the status of being the one who implemented euthanasia as a "right"; and the money of course, that is being offered to him from the prodeath forces. The whole rotten mess must stink to God's nostrils as surely as those burning gas ovens in Germany did!

Prodeath Judge James W is no Saviour for Terri!

Well, didn't you just know it ? The whole pretense of Congress rushing madly about in their melodramatic attempts to appear to be doing something to save Terri Schiavo from death by Court order, has been shown up for what it was--an empty promise to the Schindlers and the nation! The sorry good for nothing Congress KNEW what they were doing--pretending to care while at the same time hedging their bets that the Federal Judge they handpicked would undo their efforts to "save" Terri. The whole farce just turns my stomach, does it have that effect on you? There is an innocent woman Terri Schiavo who has already endured some kind of event at her house years ago, of very suspicious nature, and survived it. And she has already endured years of efforts of her adultering husband to put her to death, and survived it. And she has survived two previous removals of her feeding tube! Now we all have to pray that God will supernaturally feed her and teach her to swallow again and get up and walk out of that death trap! Let us all pray that God will show HIMSELF strong on behalf of Terri and flaunt the laws of the wicked to their face!

In a way, that is precisely what George Greer and James Whittmore have done! They have flaunted the pretend law that created no new substantive right for Terri or anyone else. They have mocked Congress and they know it! The question is, does Congress know it? Or are they all so nearly "brain dead" themselves that they cannot see the truth. The house divided against itself cannot stand. "And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand. And if satan cast out satan he is divided against himself, and how shall then his kingdom stand?" Matthew 12:25-26. Well, we all know one thing in this case--satan and the demoncrats are not a house divided against itself. It is the prolifers or should I say the pretend prolifers who are a house divided against itself! The demoncrats in Florida are all about death and the demoncrats in the US Senate are all about death too, and the "judge" George Greer, he is all about death too, and now add to the boiling cauldron of evil, the federal Judge James Whittemore who is all about death and stir it all together and you have the makings of Nazi America! That federal Judge was so outrageously cynical that he did not even bother to hear the evidence or the facts before he made up his tiny wicked mind. But who is shocked by his wicked decision? Was he not appointed precisely because he could be trusted to vote against human life in the abortion debate? Wasn't he the "poster boy" for Bill Clinton that year in Bill's death to the preborn campaign of extremism and national suicide? When a man is appointed Judge because he believes in killing the innocent as a "right" should anyone act shocked when it turns out he also believes in killing the born innocents as well?

Well, the house divided United States is the ununited states for certain! The majority of people polled by the prodeath organizations voted thumbs down to Terri just like Caesar did in the ancient Roman amphitheaters when it was the Christians v the lions. Now the Caesars of this age, voted a thumbs down to Terri too, but it "ain't over yet"! God is still God and thank goodness, and I am asking HIM to do something. When God does something, HE does it well! So watch and pray with all like Christians that the demons are defeated and the prodeaths are set aside by God and never allowed to make law in this nation again and that Terri is saved by God's own hand!!

    Computerized Med System increases errors!

Here is some more evidence of how dangerous hospitals have become. According to a study in the Journal of American Medical Association [JAMA] entitled, "Role of Computerized Physician Order Entry Systems in Facilitating Medication Errors" by Ross Koppel,PhD, et al *, the use of computers have made medication errors in hospitals worse, not better! The use of computers was widely acclaimed in recent years as being the replacement for human nurses' intellect and oversight in the dispensation of medicines in hospitals. Now, researchers are finding that the drug errors are multiplied by the administration via computer. This study discovered that the computer facilitated 22 different types of medication errors and that some of the errors were repetitive--the computers were programmed incorrectly and the wrong dose given over and over. Well, computer programmers know that GIGO model=garbage in, garbage out! The output of computers is only as good as the programmers! If the attitude of hospital staff is that they are just there drawing their paycheck or indifference or worst outright hostility to human life, then the attitude of 'who cares?' prevails. In that situation, computers are dangerous, because they lack the human ability to eyeball the patient and listen and observe that human nurses have. When the focus is on the armband with computerized information that is scanned with a wand, instead of looking at the patient, talking to the patient, listening to the patient, then patient care deteriorates and can become deadly. This is my professional opinion and it is clearly stated in my words from my observations of years as a Registered Nurse. It is also the opinion of other professionals. The study cited said some doctors reported similar drug errors on their patients week after week. The same study writes that 770,000 in the US were killed or injured by adverse drug events [ADEs in some reports in some morbidity and mortality reports]. Hospitals hide these errors and doctors report them in some Journals but in such ways that the public may not recognize the truth of them.

I want you all to understand that if you are a hospital patient or know someone who is, and they are getting medications be alert, pay attention, ask questions, refuse any questionable medicines, and do not look to drugs to be the answer. Healing is from God, not drugs! Drugs are as likely to harm you as help you in some situations. Do not look to the Big Pharma or Big Biotech companies to save you. The "raw material" of some drugs is so awful being made from contaminated "cell lines" of human flesh and blood that even if the right drug by doctor's order is given, it can be very wrong for you! The idea that eternal life comes from a bottle of pills is not only bad human doctrine and atheism, but insanity in light of the evidence to the contrary.

Orphans tell how parents gave blood, got AIDS

Orphans in Henan, China, are finally speaking out to tell how their parents sold blood to raise money and then contracted AIDS as a result of improperly cleaned equipment, and then died. The transmission of AIDS is known to occur through the blood and body fluids of those infected; yet even in the US, the selling of blood is legal and is often done especially in inner cities. I have no doubt their story is true because I was once the Assistant Manager for a Plasma Center in the U S, and watched as the nurses, usually LPN’s or “techs, questioned the blood donors and just took the word of those who reeked of alcohol and other drugs, that they were “clean”. I saw no efforts to sterilize equipment. Those two events so turned me against it and the whole idea of the buying of human blood from any donor, that I did not work long there. The whole thing became repulsive to me!

The story of the orphans is similar. I urge you to read it for yourself at: http://ipsnews.net/new_nota.asp?idnews=27793, article entitled, “China: Henan Orphans Finally Speak Out’ by Antoaneta Bezlova, for the Inter Press News [IPS].

Thank God! Another bold prolife Governor_W.VA

West Virginia Governor Joe Manchin joined the prolife rally at the West Virginia Capitol on March 7,2005, in support of the W.Va Senate Bill 146 that classifies a human embryo and fetus as a separate and distinct person and states the "embryonic period commences at fertilization" in the Unborn Victims of Violence Act. The dominoes of abortion on demande are falling--one State in the US after another is finding bold and righteous men who stand for the truth. The Governor was joined by Bishop Micheal Branfield also. The trend of boldness on this issue is exciting. Recently in Denver the words of Charles Chaput boldly proclaimed the humanity of the babe in the womb and announced to the world, that he would take responsibility for any "unwanted" babies if they would be brought to term and delivered alive.

This nation is gradually moving toward Constitutional Protection for the Unborn Child and I am very grateful for that. Also, it is my fervent prayer that all nations give legal protection of their governments for the innocents. Please pray that God in His mercy will act to save the millions of innocents once and for all, from appointed destruction via abortuaries, and from any systematic killing machinery.

    Her 12-day detention in Mideast
soothed by God?s peace & purpose
    By Tammi Reed Ledbetter

WAXAHACHIE, Texas (BP)--During 12 days of being detained in the United Arab Emirates
for distributing Bibles, Marie Bush was given no promise for how quickly a higher
court would hear the charge for engaging in illegal activity.

Even so: ?God had a purpose through this entire situation,? Bush told Baptist Press
in her first interview after being deported March 2 to return home to Waxahachie,
    Texas.

?He was in total control.... God will reveal His purpose and nothing was by accident.
Everything is in God?s hands,? she said confidently from her home March 3 after
    being reunited with her husband.

The 55-year-old Texan was detained Feb. 19 in Dubai where police observed her distributing
Bibles at a large, international market. Quick to realize that various other members
of the mission trip with Tom Cox World Ministries might never know what had happened
to her, Bush rushed around the corner to get the attention of 72-year-old Vivian
Gilmer of Myrtle Beach, S.C., another Southern Baptist who was a part of the group.

Although the oil-rich nation on the coast of the Persian Gulf prohibits the distribution
of religious tracts, Bush and other members of the team had been told that Bibles
could be passed out as gifts from Americans.

Bush was interacting with shoppers in the international market?s Czech pavilion
when one of five policemen who had been following her shouted, ?You come!? She turned
around and looked at the man, questioning whether he meant her. Then she realized
that the two policemen, along with three shrouded female officers with only their
eyes exposed, had been following for some time.

??What do you not understand about the word come??? Bush recalled the officer asking
in clear English. Her immediate response was to place her hands over her heart and
    utter, ?Oh, my mercy.?

?It flashed through my mind that I was fixing to disappear and that was what I was
worried about. No one would know where I went,? Bush recalled thinking. ?I ran around
the corner and they came with me and my first thought was I needed to tell Vivian.?
Looking back on the episode, she realized her action implicated another member of
    her party.

Bush described to Baptist Press a series of ?God things? that ordered their steps
from the initial work in medical missions among rural villages of India to the layover
    in Dubai.

?I told Vivian I think I?m being taken to jail and I apologized that I got her in
trouble. But that was a God thing,? she said, explaining how unlikely it was to
have another member of her party just 20 steps away in the enormous marketplace.
?Vivian could have been anywhere in the pavilion,? Bush said. ?It was very evident
they would not let me run for long.?

First taken to a makeshift station at the market, Bush and Gilmore were transported
to a downtown station where they faced repeated questioning about their activity.
?The team was supposed to meet at 7 p.m. and so when we didn?t come they were afraid
something had happened,? Bush said of the group of mission volunteers. She later
learned that a prayer vigil had begun, spreading worldwide to other Christians via
    the Internet.

Questioned why they were allegedly violating the law, Bush began explaining the
purpose of the mission trip, relating how they had worked in Hindu regions throughout
India earlier in the week before their stop in Dubai.

?They saw that we had 19 Bibles between us,? after seeing them on a table at the
    police station, Bush said.

?We had gone to a church the night before [in Dubai], since their service was on
a Friday,? Bush said, and they were able to give the police a copy of the church
bulletin with the pastor?s phone number on it. ?Our calling him,? Bush said, ?was
    a total God thing.?

Bush then found herself describing the work they had done in India and their brief
time in the United Arab Emirates, using words that she said only God could have
supplied. ?I started to tell him we?d been on a medical mission trip to India for
10 days, going each day to a different tribal village. I went into how they were
Hindu in India and had thousands of gods.?

Bush recalled saying, ?When we were over there we were able to tell people in India
about our one true God and we know over here in Dubai we cannot do that ... because
that is against the law. But we didn?t feel like we were breaking the law because
we were just handing out gifts, our holy Bible,? she continued. ?When people would
ask us, we would tell them this is our holy Bible. Some would accept it and some
    refused,? Bush told the officer.

The circumstance caused Bush to realize with certainty, ?God does give you His Word
and I just feel like He was there with Vivian and me and did give us the strength.?
From the time they were picked up around 6 p.m. until they were released to the
local pastor at 1:30 a.m., the Dubai police were kind and gracious, Bush said, and
God gave them a sense of peace throughout the ordeal.

After the police took the passports of the two detainees and allowed them to leave
in the care of the pastor, they returned to the hotel to find several members of
the mission team praying in their room.

The other members of the group left as planned at 4:30 a.m. and the two women attempted
to rest until morning but were awakened an hour early by a bellman who insisted
he load up their luggage so they could leave the hotel. They spent several hours
waiting at the police station to hear whether they could leave the country and were
told their case had been bumped up to a higher court. ?They said we?d hear in two
to three days what day our court date was,? Bush said.

In the meantime, the two women gained encouragement by being able to talk with their
families by phone while staying at the pastor?s home. ?I called my husband as soon
as we were able from the pastor?s house. It was 4 a.m. in the morning [in Texas].?
Bush asked that he call their church, First Baptist of Waxahachie, in order to start
them praying. ?[We] needed major prayer warriors. God just showed me we don?t only
belong to God?s family and church.... It was not just in the United States, but
God showed us the whole world -- Christians from all over -- were praying for us,?
she said, grateful for the power of the Internet communications.

Bush?s husband also delivered to their three grown children the news of their mother?s
detention, further spreading the call to prayer. On March 2, the women?s passports
were returned and they were released to begin the trip home.

Excited to return to Waxahachie, Bush said, ?I am so humbled by all the prayers
that have lifted me up. I just want to thank everyone because God does answer prayer.
I totally felt His grace. God orchestrated two wonderful mission trips, one to India
and one to Dubai. He allowed those on the trip to see a third-world country and
literally the richest country in the world,? she added, referring to India and UAE.

?More important was not just seeing these two countries, but how God is in control
in all situations. He revealed to me so many wonderful Scriptures, showing me His
promise of love and comfort and that He is always there for us in every situation.?

While she isn?t allowed to return to United Arab Emirates, Bush is willing to go
wherever God leads in the future. A longtime missions education teacher in several
Southern Baptist churches, Bush first learned of God?s activity around the world
through a Sunbeams class and later in Girls in Action and Acteens, all Southern
Baptist programs. ?My love for missions is why I feel called to go on these trips,?
she said. She often utilizes a clown ministry as a way to reach children with the
    Gospel.

The GAs at her home church wrote notes of encouragement and created a banner that
still hangs outside her house in Waxahachie. ?The children are just a big love of
mine. I was so touched when one of the ladies from church told me how worried they
were.? She was quick to add that those children will remember the outcome of their
prayer support and now she has one more story to tell them of God?s grace and provision.

    >From the time that her own children were very young, Bush taught them to learn
Psalm 56:3 whenever they were afraid. ?What time I?m afraid, I will trust in thee,?
    she quoted.

?He holds us in the palm of His hand, directs our lives, knows how many stars are
in the heavens, how many hairs we have on our heads,? Bush said. ?He knows everything
about what we will be doing in the future and directs our every footstep. Nothing
is by accident. God was in total control.? [end quote]

Open Letter to UAE, Saudi Arabia's Kings & people

Please intervene to secure the release of Vivian Gilmer and Marie Bush, who were detained in Dubai,UAE, for distributing Bibles . I am certain since the Embassy is located in Washington, DC, the Ambassadors have had occasion to hear Christian teaching and be familiarized to a degree with what the Bible is. The word of God written down is not a threat to any nation, and the Qu'ran says to respect the "people of the Book". Those two American women are trying to serve the Lord just as the Muslim people are seeking to know and please Al-lah. Al-lah is the Arabic word for the word, God, is it not? The Christians, Jews and Muslims all worship the same God! We Christians are not the enemies of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, or any Arabic people. We love the Lord too! There may be many names for The Lord from different tongues and different ways of detailing HIS nature and character but there is only ONE God. Jesus said, "I and The FATHER are one" Jesus is the human embodiment of the spirit of God, and the HOLY Spirit of God is the breath, force, power of God. It is as if an Ambassador is an Ambassador in the US from Saudi Arabia or UAE, but when he is in his own country, he may be a husband, father, brother, son, Imam, --there are several roles, names if you will for the same person. So it is with God! We Christians worship the ONE God, we are not infidels! At least the true Christians are not. Those who serve and bow down to idols are not true Christians according to God's words. Please, Sirs, I plead with you to release the women who have done no harm to your people. Knowing the words of God will not harm any nation, and the Muslims say and broadcast that they serve the true God and seek to please HIM! IF that is so, then you must release the women who are being held hostage by having their passports confiscated while awaiting trial.Sirs, what will you try them for??LOVING GOD? And wanting others to love God and serve Him and know HIM? Sirs, surely that must not be a crime in any nation where God's name is revered, and held to be sacred! Please secure the release of all Christians and give Muslim protection to the people of the BOOK, as your prophet instructed. We Christians are people of the Book--the written words of God.

    Just me being me!

    Hey y'all,

I am just writing this for fun. I need to do that once in a while, and today is the day. Today was a beautiful day in Denver, and I went on a walkabout. I was tempted to go window-shopping too, but didn't . I decided that the kind of things I spend money on now, are so much more important than my own time-soaking-up activity. There are a very few shops that I like to go too because now I have this huge need to "save the world", a friend told me once and I work so much on the causes. When I see something I like at all I think, well do I "need" that? That being whatever it was I was thinking of buying. Of course, once I think that way, the pleasure of just shopping for fun evaporates. So I stayed on task for today, as they would say in some circles.

I met people on the train and they were friendly! I was surprised. I have ridden the Light Rail train intermittently since coming to Denver, but almost never does anyone make efforts to talk to those not in their group. They board in clumps and they chat among themselves but friendliness is not one of the characteristics of Denver people. Maybe it is my Southern accent that puts them off? I do sound different everyone tells me. No doubt! But today, I was sitting sort of in a clump of realtors and they were friendly! And they didn't seem shocked when I responded but pleased! I like to talk but sometimes people seem anxious if I do, and occasionally they will ask where I am originally from? I guess social amenities either never were in Denver, or they went the way of the high security, paranoia of the times we live in.
