Believers in the ONE True God, who is Spirit, Unite for peace

I read many of the Reuters,BBC, AP and Yahoo news reports about the bombings in Amman Jordan. One article from Sydney Australia is about Amman "paying the price of friendship" with the US, but I want to publicly denounce such foolishness. The Amman bombings did not happen because their King is an ally of the US. They happened because the enemies of God are evil, and do not want peace on earth. The Bible makes it plain that there is an "antichrist" [ the word for the enemy of God who fell from heaven] , on the earth today, that seeks to devour those who believe in God and take them to hell with him. Evil is not defined by a region or group or ethnicity but by those who reject God and HIS commandments according to Scripture. Those who acknowledge the Sovereignty and Authority of THE ONE GOD do not kill other humans. The age, location, religious beliefs, economic status, education status or any other characteristics of the world does not define humanity. God alone has the power to create humans and HE made us "in the image of God" according to Genesis 1:27-28, and HE knew us when we were in the womb according to Jeremiah 1:5..God wrote in stone, "thou shalt not kill' in Exodus 20:13, and Deuteronomy 5:17 and Matthew 18:14. The passage from Matthew is written, "even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these litle ones should perish."

I urge you to go to the website link and read the Ammon Message of King Abdullah II of Jordan for a very clear explanation using the words of the Qu'ran to explain what Islam believes. I am Chrisitian, always was, always will be and I know why. However having said that, after I read the words that the King selected for his speech on that link, I realize that the prophet they acknowledge did have knowledge of the Old Testament as do the Christians and the Jews. We, the religions defined by faith in the ONE God must unite and stop fighting each other. The words of their book are very similar in some passages to the words of The Book of the Christians, that is the Holy Bible. We must all learn to live in peace and we must create public policies that allow people to worship God whereever they live. In the opening paragraph of the King's speech he acknowledges "all apostles and prophets" and he concludes with "thanking God, Lord of the worlds.".. For all of you who have no understanding of what Islam is supposed to be about, i.e. the worship of the ONE God, you may find some peace in reading his speech of Nov 2004 on that website listed here as a link. gloria poole pappas
