"If My people which art called by My name, shall

humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land". II Chronicles 7:14

And again, in a slightly different way,"blessed is the nation whose God is The Lord; and the people whom He hath chosen for His own inheritance." Psalms 33:12

"The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as he of a contrite spirit." Psalms 34:18

These Scriptures sort of sum up the Author of blessings, the ONE who blesses, the ONE who heals in precise ways. God heals bodies and He heals nations! He heals the broken-hearted and is nigh to them. God is good all the time, isn't He? His paths are true and His Commandments give direction and guidance to living this life on earth. He never fails! He does not turn a deaf ear to the cries of those who love Him. He answers the prayers of the humble and the repentent who come before Him pleading for mercy and life! He watches over His word to perform it and HE is not a liar! He is not mocked and He is not silenced by the wicked. His mercy is everlasting unto those who love Him.
