Not just no but 'hell no" says Gov Jindal of La, to 'reform' takeover

I quote from Timothy Cahill of Massachusetts from his letter in the online
Wall St Journal today:

"As state treasurer, I can speak with authority about the Massachusetts
pilot program. It has been a fiscal train wreck.

The universal insurance coverage we adopted in 2006 was projected to
cost taxpayers $88 million a year. However, since this program was
adopted in 2006, our health-care costs have in total exceeded
$4 billion. The cost of Massachusetts’ plan has blown a hole in the
Commonwealth’s budget. Just last Thursday, Gov. Deval Patrick’s
office announced a $294 million shortfall related to health-care
costs." Mr Cahill is the State Treasurer for Massachusetts.

I quote Bobby Jindal's letter in same article in Wall St Journal today:
5) We don’t want to be labeled the party of “no.” As it pertains to
this bill, how about “hell no”? Newt Gingrich is
saying we should “repeal and replace.” That works." Bobby Jindal is
Governor of Louisiana.
I quote Phil Gramm:
The fundamental question is about who is going to do the controlling:
the family or the government?"
I quote Congressman Mike Pence from Indiana:
We can renew our commitment to seniors in Medicare and pursue the kind of reform required to achieve its long-term solvency.

Finally, if we repeal this bill, we can restore the historic prohibition on using public
funding for elective abortion. House Democrats were wrong to exchange 30 years of pro-life
statutory protections for a piece
of paper from the most pro-abortion president in American history".
I quote Gov Mitch Daniels Governor of Indiana:
"They could also create tax credits for buying health insurance based on income"..
All of these quotes are from Wall St Journal today. There is much more to their letters
of protest than these quotes. Please read the entire article at:

And from NY Times article today written by Rep Paul Ryan of Wisconsin is this quote:
The Democrats’ fiscal arguments never did add up: they claim that their program will reduce
the deficit even though the federal government will pick up the tab for more than 30 million
uninsured Americans and subsidize millions more. Even after accounting for the $569 billion
in tax increases and $523 billion in Medicare cuts, the true costs of this legislation
— concealed by timing gimmicks, hidden spending and double-counting — will make the
deficit explode, plunging us deeper into debt.Washington already has no idea on how to pay for its
current entitlement programs, as we find ourselves $76 trillion in the hole".
My comments to the news today are these:
1) if republicans allow the demoncrats to decide, the good people should probably start emigrating since the plan is to shift as much of your wealth to insurance companies controlled by government as possible.
2) if republicans don't begin to truly understand that the American people who do not want abortion on demand are the MAJORITY then it shows they don't do their homework, and that they are not in touch with America. That is a HUGE problem that has to be corrected asap.
3) republicans overturned slavery--they can overturn Obama and his killing plan.
4) republicans read the US Constitution --it is a few pages [less than 10] and it defines what the federal government is supposed to do.If you don't understand it, call up the Professors at Univ of GA that teach business law and or the Constitution and ask them.
4) detach Obama's name from it so he has less incentive to force it on the nation. He is an arrogant s.o.b if there ever was one, and he should be impeached for that 'reform' bill that is nothing but socialism.

Update: I forgot to mention this. I am Christian and the cross that was on my profile as my icon is my photo of one of my many oil paintings. The only reason I changed it to my signature is to help me get control of my name, my paintings, and my photography. One of the hosting companies I did do business with for 6 years tried to steal my albums and my photos of my original paintings. Because some of them were painted when I was married the second time but I am divorced the second time and I painted my paintings and Gloria Poole is my real name. I am adding my photo of my painting back to this entry to prove that I painted it and the painting itself and the photo and the copyright belong to me:
Update today after reading my email:

Quoting Janice Shaw Crouse of Concerned Women of America as sent to me in alert today:

"Leaders across the nation — nearly half a million strong — have already signed the
Manhattan Declaration declaring that moral principles
take precedence over laws that ignore the value of human life and individual freedom. These
deeply-held religious beliefs are inviolable, non-negotiable, and they are protected under
the U.S. Constitution. Thousands of America’s Orthodox, Catholic and evangelical Christian
leaders have laid down a gauntlet: By reaffirming the fundamental truth that life and liberty
come, not from man-made laws, but from God, we have joined together “to defend the sanctity of
life, the dignity of marriage as the conjugal union of husband and wife, and the rights of
conscience and religious liberty.”

And about the Manhattan Declaration of Christians of all denominations agreeing on the goals
to strive for in this nation, in late 2009.
I quote from the Manhattan Declaration with this drafting committee:
"DRAFTING COMMITTEE
Robert George
Professor, McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence, Princeton University

Timothy George
Professor, Beeson Divinity School, Samford University

Chuck Colson
Founder, the Chuck Colson Center for Christian Worldview (Lansdowne, VA)" who together wrote the
words included here as quotes and also the entire Declaration.
"We pledge to each other, and to our fellow believers, that no power on earth, be it cultural
or political, will intimidate us into silence or acquiescence. It is our duty to proclaim the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in its fullness, both in
season and out of season. May God help us not to fail in that duty." And also this quote:
We will be united and untiring in our efforts to roll back the license to kill that began with
the abandonment of the unborn to abortion." And this quote:
And so we defend and speak for the unborn, the disabled, and the dependent. What the Bible and the
light of reason make clear, we must make clear. We must be willing to defend, even at risk and
cost to ourselvest and our institutions, the lives of our brothers and sisters at every stage
of development and in every condition." And another quote about the Christian viewpoint of
marriage from Manhattan Declaration:
Marriage is what one man and one woman establish when, forsaking all others and pledging lifelong
commitment, they found a sharing of life at every level of being—the biological, the emotional,
the dispositional, the rational, the spiritual— on a commitment that is sealed, completed and
actualized by loving sexual intercourse in which the spouses become one flesh, not in some
merely metaphorical sense, but by fulfilling together the behavioral conditions of procreation."
And continued with this: "...we pledge to labor ceaselessly to preserve the legal definition of
marriage as the union of one man and one woman and to rebuild the marriage culture." And this quote:
"Christianity has taught that civil disobedience is not only permitted, but sometimes required."
And the summary statement of Manhattan Declaration is:
"Because we honor justice and the common good, we will not comply with any edict that purports
to compel our institutions to participate in abortions, embryo-destructive research, assisted
suicide and euthanasia, or any other anti-life act; nor will we bend to any rule purporting
to force us to bless immoral sexual partnerships, treat them as marriages or the equivalent,
or refrain from proclaiming the truth, as we know it, about morality and immorality and marriage
and the family. We will fully and ungrudgingly render
to Caesar what is Caesar's. But under no circumstances will we render to Caesar what is God's."
